Announcing our Daily Backpack on Kickstarter

First of all, let me begin this article with a huge THANK YOU. As some of you might know, Standard Luggage Co. was born on Kickstarter back in March 2015, and since then, we strived to achieve perfection, and have gained quite a few satisfied customers along the way.

Because we are always looking for ways to stay innovative, we designed a new Daily Backpack for 2017, with all the cool features one might imagine. Our designers worked around the clock, and the results are bound to impress you. Check it out!

Dimensions and Capacity

While this bag isn’t huge in terms of sheer dimensions, standing at 45 x 28 x 15 cm, the capacity of 18L is more than enough for any experienced traveler. Through the use of the latest modern materials, our designers found a way to keep the weight at a bare minimum of just 2.2 lbs.

Quality control

All Standard Luggage products go through a grueling testing phase which ensures that the buyers end up with items of the highest quality. That was certainly the case with the Daily Backpack as well. Created from the finest materials, this backpack is water resistant, but for that added peace of mind, we also included a rain cover in the package. Like other products found on our website, this backpack also includes a Lifetime warranty.

The material in question was polyurethane sealed nylon, which was reinforced with another layer of nylon lining. With YKK zips, snap hooks and buckles, this backpack will serve as your trusted companion for years to come.

Practicality

Backpacks used on the daily need to have a special dose of practicality, and our new product is the champion in that area. With an awesome 3 in 1 design, it will account for all of your needs, and then some. Not only that you can use it as a backpack, it also transforms into a messenger bag or briefcase in a matter of seconds. The straps can be easily hidden and you’ll get a brand new utility bag in no time. Furthermore, due to its minimalistic design, it can be used everywhere from classy business meetings to fun outdoor activities. Don’t worry about maintenance either, as any dirt particles can be washed off quite easily.

But what about safety?

As any traveler knows, safety is something most luggage manufacturers take lightly. That’s not the case with our brand, though! The specially developed anti-theft design will put your mind at ease, and keep your belongings safely tucked away.

Criminals are getting more advanced as time goes on, but this backpack uses the latest technology features, such as RFID-secure pocket to keep personal digital information safely out of reach. If you’re planing to take a longer trip, there’s also a possibility to add another safety layer due to lockable zips. Better to be safe than sorry!

With a specially dedicated pocket for a 15-inch laptop and a 10-inch tablet, you can take your tech with you wherever you go. You can only stay productive until you run out of power, but luckily, our designers thought of another superb trick. The Daily Backpack is equipped with an integrated USB port, for a quick top-off when necessary. Portable batteries are sold separately, but trust me, you’ll want to have this feature in your life!

Still, the fun doesn’t stop there. If photography is your hobby, or even a daily job, we got you covered. Inside pockets are ideally suited for camera lenses, and the three zippered mesh pockets will be a perfect place to store adapters and cables.
